10. GSG 9 - Germany
GSG 9 is a German anti-terrorism organization and specific activities of the German Federal Police. It was transformed as part of the Territorial Army in 1947 and was renamed the 21st Army, the SAS Regiment. Regular Army 22 SAS gained international fame and popularity after successfully attacking the Iranian Ambassador to London and rescuing hostages during the 1980 Iranian Embassy siege.
