This is a list of great Bollywood horror horror movies and to be watched by all fans of the horror genre.
1. The House Next Door (2017)
This is the Hindi version of 'Aval'. One of the best movies ever made in recent times. It is the story of a young couple who discover that their lives have changed dramatically as they move into a new neighborhood and find new neighbors.
One of the best things about the movie is the twist at the end of it that most of us haven't seen coming. Available on Netflix India for viewing.
2. Purana Mandir (1984)
The Ramsay brothers were a well-known name in a horror genre in the 80s and 90s. This is a gem from their long list of horrow flicks.
It is the story of a rich little girl discovering the truth about a demon and it is a terrible curse brought on by her family for generations, she decides to go to her father's village with her lover and friend to find the truth.
3. 13B (2009)
A man encounters a natural phenomenon in a newly purchased apartment; a soap opera broadcast only on his TV, showing the future of his family.
The 13B is an excellent seat pleasure that keeps you immersed as the ladies in the film have a TV series.
The film revolves around a mysterious TV show that portrays and portrays what will happen in the life of the protagonist family that day. Everything is fine - lighting, sound, etc.
4. 1920 (2008)
After leaving his family and religion, the man discovers that his wife has a demon.
1920 is one of the best horror movies from Vikram Bhatt, an expert on horror genres, After Raaz, this is from some of the most horror movies ever made.
5. Darna Mana Hai (2003)
Seven friends left the forest when their car came in the dark to reduce their time and decided to tell scary stories. But after each story one of the friends panicked and got back in the car.
Now, this is a true classic movie by all standards. I’ve had a mixed reaction about Ram Gopal Verma so far. Some of his old categories include Raat, and Road, and his biggest disappointment includes Vaastu Shastra.
However, "Darna Mana Hai" is a real classic! No songs, no wasting time. This is a fun psycho “on the edge of the seat”.
6. Raaz (2002)
Another great film by Vikram Bhatt. A beautiful horror movie that can do something good with a story.
Some good songs add to the fun, however, do not think that love songs will have a negative impact on the movie.
7. Tumbbad (2018)
One of the most horror movies ever made and well done in every department. This is a must watch a horror movie from India. Of course this is not a Bollywood movie but made in the south but like our no. 10 we decided to include movies from all over India as it is called in Hindi.
Tumbbad is based on the legend of a goddess who created the universe. The conspiracy is accompanied by the result when the people build a temple for his firstborn.
8. Raat(1992)
The Sharma family also lives in a small town with a "name" house. The Sharma family has Mr. Sharma, his wife Shalalini Sharma, the only daughter Manisa Sharma or “Mini” as they affectionately call him and their granddaughter Bunty, as her parents had been killed in the accident.
Strange things begin to happen, with the return of a dead cat, and the brutal murder of Manisa's friend, Reshmi; attempted murder of Mr Sharma and Manisa's boyfriend, Deepak.
9. Veerana(1988)
The 80s and early 90s were just the gold of horror movies in India. Although they did not have the special effects of visual and audio effects, they can still make some of the best movies that fans will always remember.
Veerana, is one of the best comedy movies ever made in India. It is based on the royal family and the religion of Satan and how the little girl is inherited and used by satanic religion.
10. Bhoot (2003)
One of the best movies made by Ramgopal Verma. This is one of the best Bollywood movies in the voice and visual department. Moreover, dealing with the news is not trivial.
It's a story about a couple moving into an air-conditioned apartment, a series of inexplicable experiences that drive a wife closer to madness. Now, the husband has to protect his wife to save their marriage.
